I found this bird on the front porch a few days ago. After doing some searching i found out that it was a Dark Eyed Junco. I assumed the bird had hit the window because half an hour before I heard a bang at the porch window. The bird looked injured so I brought it into the house in a cat carrier, so that it didn’t fly away into some part of the house when I wasn’t there. I gave it some chick food but I later learned that the Dark Eyed Junco won’t eat stuff like that. 2 hours went by and the birdie was getting better. Another hour went by and the little birdie was all healed so i brought the cat carrier outside and let the bird free.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
