There is a mysterious thief that keeps snatching my treats. I’ve tried putting a lock on the chocolate but the thief picked the lock. I tried recording the crime as it took place but the criminal disabled the recording device. I even put the candy on the top shelf and that didn’t work either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early Morning:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I woke up this morning to another failed attempt to capture the thief. It’s gotten so bad I have a board with new ideas for traps to trap this mysterious, untrappable miscreant. My first idea was to hang a camera from the ceiling, but after not being able to find a suitable wire to suspend the recording device, it was quickly scrapped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mid Afternoon:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I’ve had another !!!INTENSE!!! brainstorming session. I came up with the idea of getting guard dogs to alert me when the thief arrives. I immediately put this plan into action. I quickly trained some guard dogs over the course of two days with the help of my friend Button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three Days of Training Later:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Finally, this is going to be the day! I can feel it. I intend to refrain from sleeping in order to react quicker to the dogs\u2019 alert, but if I fall asleep, the dogs should be loud enough to wake me up if or when the thief arrives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Next Morning:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I wasn’t woken up by the dogs, so I think the thief didn’t come last night. The bait (chocho bar) is gone! But how? The dogs would have alerted me if an intruder entered the house last night. Unless it wasn’t an intruder at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Finale:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It finally makes sense \u2014 the thief has to be Button! After confronting Button, I found out he had been stealing candy from loads of other people \u2014 even babies! It was quite easy to convict him when I saw a mountain of (bunny sized) candies on the table in his burrow. It’s safe to say Button won’t be seeing any chocolate for a very long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
